Volunteers:

The KTA is always looking for volunteers! We have opportunities that vary from fundraising, to helping with tournaments, to marketing & communication, to assisting with social events. Board of Directors positions are currently open, and we would love to hear from you and how you would like to give back to the tennis and pickleball community. We have a variety of different ways for you to help. Please email us to see how you can plug in!

Scholarships:

ATTENTION Graduating Seniors!! KTA will award two $1000  Scholarships to 2024 High School Seniors from Tivy High School, Ingram Tom Moore High School, OLH, and/or local homeschool graduates. Applicants should be pursuing some form of higher education or trade school after high school. Applicants must have participated for at least two years in high school tennis, USTA, or UTR tournaments. Recipients are selected based on academic performance, citizenship, and tennis experience. HOW TO APPLY:

Lessons/Clinics: Want to learn the sport of tennis or improve your game? Lessons and group clinics are a great option! We encourage you to contact the facilities listed below to find a program that will best fit you and your needs. 

League Play: There are no lack of tennis games and groups to become a part of. Please reach out to one of the listed pros to find out more information on a league or game near you.

This facility is available to the public. There are 14 tennis courts, 4 pickleball courts, a backboard and an available ball machine. Clinics and lessons are available to both adults and juniors. Annual memberships are available or you can “rent” a court on an individual basis.

Youth Sponsorships & Financial Assistance:

It is the desire of the KTA to see that all junior tennis players have the opportunity to learn, grow, & improve in the sport of tennis. For those who wish to attend local tennis clinics & trainings but who need financial assistance to do so, please send the following information in to the KTA.

  • Parent/Guardian most recent tax return (page 1 and 2 of 1040 only)
  • A typed personal statement addressing where you wish to participate in junior tennis clinics/trainings and why.
  • If you are selected to receive sponsorship, you will be expected to sign and commit to a contract between you, the KTA, and the local coach/facility where you will be training.
